The percentage change in the number of hospitalisations of longer than one day as a result of traffic crashes compared to the previous year. This measure is driven by the Safer Journeys strategy in partnership with the Ministry of Transport, NZ Transport Agency, ACC, and local government. Auckland Metro includes Waitematā, Auckland City and Counties-Manukau Districts. Hospitalisation data is not available for these individual Police Districts.
