Died: 5 February 1913

At the Albion Hotel in Shannon, On the 3rd February 1913, he was assaulted by Peter MacDonald. He was later admitted to hospital due to the injuries he had received.

Two days later he died in hospital from the injuries he had recieved.

MacDonald was found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm and sentenced to 18 months imprisonment.
