Noreen Hegarty is the sole charge communications manager for Auckland City District. She is the first port of call for all media enquiries relating to policing matters in the district or where comment may be sought from an officer in charge of a particular enquiry or from the District Commander.

The communications manager's office operates during normal business hours and can be contacted on 09 302 6947 or 027 495 1589. The manager is not available to the media outside these hours, unless called on by Police to assist in an operation.
