Operation Somme: TV3 error correction

Earlier this evening, Tuesday, 11 January 2005, Television Three reported that Tania McKENZIE's parents attended the funeral of Mona MORRISS.
This is incorrect, not true and has caused great distress to the family.
The family state that a staff member from TV3 contacted them. They were advised that all media releases were to be done through the Police and did not wish to comment on Mrs MORRISS' funeral or any other matter.
Publishing incorrect information is of no assistance to this enquiry.
