Napier Police offer safety tips at sea

With winter now fast approaching Police and Coastguard strongly advise that people take all the necessary precautions and checks before heading out on even a brief trip on the water. It is now also a requirement that all vessels including surf skis and kayaks as well as boats carry lifejackets under Regional Council Bylaws. Police strongly advise that these are worn whenever possible.
