How can I notify a change of address for my firearms licence?
You are required by law to inform police if you have changed address since your firearms licence was issued. There is no fee.

You will immediately receive email confirmation that your notification was received by NZ Police Firearms Unit. Within five working days you will receive email confirmation that your record has been updated. Within a month you may also be contacted by your local Arms Officer to inspect firearm security at your new address.
