The New Zealand Police Information and Communications Technology Service Centre are seeking to appoint an experienced Infrastructure Engineer: Unix to the Computing Infrastructure group, based at the Royal New Zealand Police College, Porirua. This role is responsible for delivering detailed infrastructure development solutions to the Computing Infrastructure group. The successful candidate will have experience in a large organisation and be able to demonstrate an advanced level of expertise with UNIX or Linux. You will be expected to take technical ownership of your projects, and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high level and detailed designs for the projects you are assigned to. This is a dynamic and challenging position, and the successful applicant will have 5 to 10 years proven experience with Linux or Unix (Solaris) and Middleware technologies, and will be able to demonstrate the following:
