1 min read

Three people have now been arrested and charged with last week’s aggravated robbery of the Shell Service Station in Mungavin Avenue, Porirua.

A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged earlier this week with aggravated robbery and last night Porirua Police arrested two 17-year-old youths and charged them with the same offence.

The youths, both local people, appeared in the Porirua Court today and have been remanded overnight to reappear tomorrow.

Detective Sergeant Marc Hercock, Porirua CIB, said the robbery happened about 2am on Thursday, 17 July. Three people went into the service station and confronted the attendant who was ordered to lie on the floor. The alleged offenders fled with a quantity of foodstuffs from the service station displays.

Mr Hercock said police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
