The 18 year-old Mangere student charged on July 13 with unlawfully taking murder victim Robert Hunt’s car, will appear in the Auckland District Court tomorrow where he will be further charged with Mr Hunt’s murder and aggravated robbery.
Mr Hunt was found dead in his Ellerslie home in the early hours of July 10.
The Police investigation into his death is ongoing but the officer in charge, Detective Senior Sergeant Julian Rinckes, said today’s news was a significant breakthrough in the inquiry and he thanked the public and media for their assistance to date.
