Police investigating the death of a 32 year-old woman found in a Shackleton Rd home in Mt Eden last evening, have arrested a 34 year-old Indian man and charged him with common assault.
He will appear in the Auckland District Court today.
A scene examination is underway and Police hope to remove the woman’s body from the property today.
A post-mortem to determine the woman’s cause of death will be carried out as soon as possible. The woman was Indian and it’s believed she doesn’t have any family in New Zealand.
