The 34 year-old Indian man accused today of murder in the Auckland District Court is Laxman Rajamani.
He is accused of murdering his 32 year-old wife, Chitralekha Ramakrishnan, on or about January 13 in their Shackelton Rd, Mt Eden, home.
Mr Rajamani pleaded not guilty to the murder charge today and has been remanded in custody to appear in the Auckland District Court for pre-depositions hearing on March 4.
