Operation Wellington: looking for handmade crochet bag

As part of the brutal killing of Marton Pensioner, Mrs Mona MORRISS, Police are trying to ascertain the whereabouts of a handmade crochet bag used by Mrs MORRISS.

The handmade crochet bag is further described as attached.

It was handmade by Mrs MORRISS and she was last seen using it in November 2004.

The crochet bag has not been found during the scene examination of Mrs MORRISS’ flat.

It appears to be a very distinctive crochet bag that members of the public may have information about.

Police are appealing for any person who may have recently given, or has recently found, such a crochet bag to contact the Op WELLINGTON team immediately.

Also, if there are persons who have observed Mrs MORRISS using such a bag to please contact us.
