2 injured in assault, Woodville

At approximately 12:10pm on Thursday, October 23rd Police attended an assault in Ormond Street, Woodville.

There had been a confrontation at the address between a male occupant and an associate. During the confrontation a small knife was produced and the victim has suffered stab wounds to his abdomen and face.

During the confrontation the victims associate has also suffered knife wounds to his hand.
 
The victim has been transferred to Palmerston North Hospital, and his associate to Wellington Hospital for treatment. Police are not seeking any other persons in relation to the incident.
