1 min read

Morrinsville Police are appealing for sightings of a young teenage girl last seen in Hamilton early in September.

Constable Rosemary Rakich of the Morrinsville Police said 14-year-old Cassia JONES
was last seen by family members in Hamilton on 01 September as she helped her mother pack for the family's move from Huia Ave to Pukehina.

"Cassia then stayed on in Hamilton with an unknown friend and subsequent texts to her family have said she is staying with a friend in Morrinsville. She was reported missing to Police in Te Puke on 27 October."

Having spoken to Cassia briefly over the phone last week Police do not have immediate fears for her safety but do ask her to contact either them or her family so her well being can be established.

Police texts and phone messages to her cell phone have not been responded to.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cassia is asked to contact Constable Rakich at the MORRINSVILLE POLICE station on 07889 5071.
