1 min read

Hamilton Police are currently working to establish the circumstances leading up to the death of a client at a private care facility in the west of the City over the weekend.

Detective Senior Sergeant Karl Thornton of the Hamilton CIB said Police were called to the Dinsdale facility around 8pm Saturday.

"A post-mortem was carried out on the 38-year-old man's body in Auckland yesterday which established further investigation is required before the cause of death can be determined.

"A part of these investigations will be work to establish circumstances leading up to the man's death and it's too early to comment on any other aspects at this stage."

Mr Thornton said the man's death had been reported to the Coroner.
