Detective Inspector appointed in Eastern District

A recent Senior appointment has been made in the Eastern District - based at the District Headquarters in Napier for a Detective Inspector.



Detective Inspector Tamuera Aberahama (Sam) has been promoted from the position of Officer in Charge of the Hastings CIB to the role of Crime Services Manager - Eastern District.



‘Sam’ is an experienced Detective and will oversee serious crime and other special projects within the District.



His first major task is to establish an Organised Crime Task Force in the District
