Dairy robbery

At about 5.08 pm on Tuesday 18 April 2006 a loan male offender has entered the Leacroft Street Dairy in Harewood and brandished a large kitchen knife at the lone female shop assistant. As a result of the robbery he stole a number of tobacco pouches.

He was last seen being chased by a member of the public right onto Isleworth Road, in the direction of Breens Road.

Description: Male, Caucasion, medium build, about 20 years, wearing a white hooded top with the hood up, with the lower half of his face covered with a bandana or similar, dark coloured semi baggy jeans or pants and a small day pack strapped to his back.

The Police would also like speak to the member of the public who chased this offender.
