Canterbury Motorists deserve praise

1 min read

There were fewer crashes in Canterbury yesterday despite the dreadful driving conditions says Traffic Manager, Inspector Derek Erasmus.

"The traffic that was there did everything right," he says. "They drove slowly, keeping good distances between. They were generally very sensible, paying heed to warnings."

Inspector Erasmus says that there are still 'some fools' who think that they are in a world rally - but they are few and far between.

With the weather due to change for the worse again motorists are warned to drive for the conditions and take heed of all warnings.
