Body found in Newtown Park Flats, Wellington

Wellington Police are investigating the death of a person at the Newtown Park Flats, where a body was found yesterday afternoon.
Acting Detective Inspector Scott Miller of Wellington CIB says Police are treating the death as suspicious until further information is available.
"Police are currently conducting a scene examination at the address in Mansfield Street, Newtown, and will remove the body of the deceased person later today."
"A post-mortem examination will help us determine the cause of death."
Police are yet to formally identify the deceased.
