Police warn Hamilton pair should not be approached

Police are seeking the public's help in locating a couple wanted on warrants to arrest one of whom is believed to be armed and using methamphetamine.

Detective Senior Sergeant Karl Thornton of the Hamilton CIB said Police were seeking information on the whereabouts of Tuki Te Rangi, a 19-year-old Maori male and his partner, Laurissa Tukaki, a 22-year old Maori woman, both of Hamilton."

"The pair are wanted on warrants for failing to appear in court."

"We believe Te Rangi is using methamphetamine and has access to firearms. He should not be approached; rather anyone who sees them should dial 111."

Police believe the pair frequent the Huntly, Tauranga, Katikati and Taupö areas and are actively avoiding the police.
