Porirua Police are appealing to the public for help locating Andrew David PERKINS who went missing from the Porirua Hospital grounds on the morning of Wednesday 11 July 2007.
He is described as: • Male Caucasian • 42-years-old • 6"1 /185cm • Solid build • Distinctive mole on right cheek • Wearing brown/green corduroy pants, a grey jacket and carrying a green back pack.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Oxnam says that on previous occasions Mr Perkins has retreated into various bush areas, which due to recent weather conditions is causing police to fear for his safety. He is also required to take daily medication.
