Aggravated robbery

An aggravated robbery early yesterday morning is described by investigating police as a 'cowardly, vicious attack.'

About 9am yesterday the lone female bar manager, aged 20years, at the Clock Tower Tavern in Hornby was struck from behind and fell to the floor, believed to be unconscious.

A large sum of cash was taken.

The alleged offender is described as male, about 5'10- 6' tall, about 20 years old, wearing a cap, a dark hoodie and jeans.
