It was a case of the final curtain falling on the budding criminal career of a group of young women who broke into a number of vacant Hamilton homes overnight.
Staff on the Hamilton Police's night shift were left scratching their heads when they returned to base with the women and their booty- several sets of maroon and grey drapes.
The three 17-year-olds and one 18-year-old are believed to have broken into three Breckons Ave homes and stolen the curtains leaving staff wondering what next?
A fifth woman is still being sought in connection with the burglaries.
