Hamilton Police are investigating an alleged serious assault reported to have happened at an address in the east of the City this week.
Police and forensic specialists conducted examinations of a Cobham Dr home today and these examinations are continuing.
Inquiries to date indicate a serious assault has taken place at the address in recent days but the exact time of the incident is yet to be established.
While Police have not been able to locate the victim as yet, finding him is a major focus for the inquiry team and their efforts will continue over the weekend.
At this time the victim cannot be named.
The occupants of the house have been spoken to by Police and investigations are continuing.
