This morning the body of a female Polynesian or Maori, believed to be aged in her 40’s was located in Great North Road, Glendene.
Police have not been able to identify her at this stage.
She is described as being medium build, and about 170cms tall, with short black curly hair.
She was wearing a white knit top with ¾ length sleeves; blue stone washed denim jeans and cream coloured leather slip on shoes.
Police are seeking information as to her identity.
No one is being sought in connection with her death.
