Aggravated robbery of Hamilton store – public assistance urgently sought

Hamilton Police seek assistance from members of the public to find 3 men who robbed the Peachgrove Superette at 6pm this evening.

The men entered the Superette, located on the corner of East Street and Peachgrove Road, wielding a hammer and a knife and demanding cigarettes.

The men are believed to be Maori, aged 18-20 years.

One of the men was carrying a bright yellow bag and wearing a fluorescent vest.

Another was wearing a dark (either black or navy) jacket with brown vinyl sleeves.

The third offender was wearing a dark blue or purple jacket with a hood.

It is believed the offenders may have parked their vehicle a short distance from the superette in Bailey Street.
