Aggravated Robbery - Whanganui

At about 2:10pm this afternoon (27 March 2016) a lone male has walked into the Durie Street Dairy on Portal Street, Durie Hill, Whanganui brandished a pistol, and stolen an amount of goods from the store.

The male is described as wearing a long sleeve blacktop, blackpants, carrying a bag of some sort and had his head covered with a multi coloured motorcycle helmet.

After stealing the goods he has run from the scene towards the school.

The shop person was not physically hurt in the robbery but is extremely distressed and family are supporting them.

Police investigating this nasty crime would like to hear from anybody who saw a man fitting this description, hanging around or going into the dairy or running away from it this afternoon.

They would also like to hear from anyone who can identify the man.

This aggressive male has gone into your local store and terrorised your local shop person. Police need your help to solve the crime.
