Police in Tauranga are making inquiries to locate two children reported missing by their family.
The boys were reported missing from Pukaki St, Mt Maunganui at 7.45pm.
One is four years old, has blonde hair and is wearing blue pants, with no shirt and no shoes.
The other boy is six years old, also has blond hair, and is wearing shorts and a t-shirt (colours unknown).
We are asking local people, particularly those on and around Pukaki St, to check their sections and sheds and any other open buildings.

Police units are looking for the pair and SAR has been advised.
