Police can confirm that earlier today they have recovered the body of a 24 year-old man after he jumped from the Riverton Bridge late last night.
His death has now been referred to the coroner and, as such, police are not able to comment further as to the cause of his death.
The man's family have asked for privacy at this time, however they would like to thank all those who helped with the search, including the Coastguard, Fire Service, Land SAR, and members of the public who helped.
