Police and ambulance are responding to a bus crash on the Te Anau Mossburn Highway near The Key.
There were 17 passengers on the bus including the driver and tour guide. One has received serious injuries.
Multiple people received moderate to minor injuries in the crash. The uninjured passengers are waiting on a bus to transport them to Te Anau.
Three helicopters were called to the incident.
Police ask motorists avoid the area as the highway is closed, and is expected to be for some time.
