Canterbury Police attend Ferry Road pharmacy incident

Canterbury Police are investigating a report of a robbery which has occurred at a Ferry Road pharmacy in Woolston this morning.

At 10:12am, Police were called to a report of an incident where a man fled in a vehicle, after allegedly taking items from the store.

It’s understood he was carrying a knife at the time of the incident. No one was injured but those in attendance are receiving support.

The offender was seen fleeing towards Hargood Street from the Portman Street intersection in a vehicle described as a green station wagon.

Police ask anyone with any information on the incident to contact Christchurch Central Police Station on 03 363 7400.

The investigation is ongoing.
