Police would like to identify this male who may have been involved in two robberies in Invercargill.

Invercargill police can now release some CCTV footage of a man alleged to have been involved in two robberies in Invercargill on Tuesday night, 24 November 2015.

The robberies occurred within 50 minutes of each other with the first robbery occurring at 10:48pm, at the Tay Street Night n Day situated on the corner of Lindisfarne and Tay Streets, Invercargill.

The second robbery occurred at 11:38pm, at the Dee Street Night n Day situated on the corner of Dee and Hensley Streets, Invercargill and police believe there is a strong link between the person or persons responsible for the robberies.

Police are wanting to speak to anyone who may recognise the man or the clothing he is wearing. Police are also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a man fitting the image anywhere else in Invercargill on the night of these incidents.

Those with information can contact the Invercargill Police Station on 03 211 0400. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously via the organisation Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
