Police can now confirm one person has died following a crash in Wairarapa last month.
The single-vehicle crash occurred on Lake Ferry Road near Martinborough shortly before 1.30am on Wednesday 12 December.
The vehicle’s passenger sustained critical injuries and was taken to Wellington Hospital, where he died yesterday (Monday 31 December 2018).
The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to make enquires to determine the circumstances of the crash.
