A fourth person has now died following a crash on SH1 near Tokoroa on Tuesday, 17 February.
17-year-old Griffin Lee was the front seat passenger in a car that collided with a truck. He has been in a critical condition in Waikato Hospital since the crash and died earlier today.
His parents, 53-year-old Warren Lee and 52-year-old Aesoon Lee, and his 20-year-old sister Julia Lee also died in the crash.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
