Good result following graffiti reports in Invercargill

Invercargill Police have spoken to a number of young people in relation to the 26 graffiti and tagging offences reported on the 26th of August 2017.

The tagging was on Kelvin Street and Victoria Avenue in Invercargill.

Four young people will be referred to Youth Aid.

Police would like to acknowledge and thank the community for their tremendous assistance in helping identify the perpetrators.

Over the next few weeks we will be in touch with all the victims.

We understand graffiti has a significant impact on our community and we would encourage anyone who sees it to report it to Police on (03) 211 0400. If you wish, take a photo of the graffiti to supply us with.
