Hamilton Police investigate bank robbery

Hamilton Police are investigating the robbery of the ASB Bank located in the Base Shopping Centre.
 
At around 12.25pm today, a man entered the bank, disguised with a black wig and black-rimmed glasses.
 
He presented a teller with a note advising he had a pistol and demanded a sum of cash, while threatening both the teller and others in the bank.
 
The man took a sum of cash before leaving the bank and departing in a blue Chevrolet Blazer 4WD.
 
He is described as Caucasian with an athletic build.
