The following statement can be attributed to Detective Ross Alexander.

Hawke's Bay Police are looking for three females after a dairy was targeted last night.

At around 6.30pm, three females entered Arkwright’s Dairy on Hastings Street in Napier.

They were wearing dark clothing with their faces obscured by clothing or dark sunglasses. One was armed with a weapon.

The trio took an unknown amount of "Holiday" branded cigarettes.

The owner confronted them, possibly resulting in one of the offenders sustaining an injury.

They were last seen running south down Hastings Street towards Briscoes.
