Emergency services are currently at the scene of two serious crashes in the Bay of Plenty.
SH30 at Horohoro is closed north of Nicholson Road due to a crash between a truck and car. Police are looking at possible diversions and will bring that information when available. In the meantime motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays. This road is expected to be closed for some time.
A second crash involving a truck and a car occurred at approximately 12.30pm on SH5 at Wairakei, Taupo. SH5 at that location is also closed and police are working to re-open one lane as soon as possible.
