1 min read

At around 12.30pm today a contractor was mowing lawns at the Totaravale Reserve in Totaravale, North Shore, when he saw some bones in a drain running alongside the reserve.

North Shore CIB are at the scene and an attending Pathologist has confirmed that the bones are human.

A full scene examination is now underway. The remains will be removed tonight and examined by a Pathologist tomorrow morning.

At this stage it is unknown how long the remains have been there, or whether they belong to a man or woman.

A further update is expected to be provided tomorrow afternoon and until then, no further comment will be made.
