Central District Police are investigating after a man was found on a street in Whanganui in the early hours of this morning with unexplained injuries.
The man was found unconscious at 3am on Tinirau Street, Whanganui East. The man has critical injuries and has been transferred to Wellington Hospital for treatment.
While inquiries are ongoing Police would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything out of the ordinary in the area of Tinirau Street in the early hours of this morning.
