1 min read

Please attribute to Detective Senior Sergeant John Wilson, Bay of Plenty CIB:

Police investigating the death of 48-year-old Scott John Henry are appealing for sightings of a dark-coloured four wheel drive vehicle in the Kinloch and Western Bays area of Taupo in the days surrounding Mr Henry's death.

Mr Henry was killed at his home in Whangamata Road, Kinloch, on Thursday 20 July 2017.

Police last week seized a vehicle which we believe is central to the investigation of Mr Henry's death.  This vehicle is currently being forensically examined, and the investigation team is also continuing to follow other strong lines of enquiry.

If you saw a vehicle fitting the description above in the days surrounding Mr Henry's death, or you have any other information which could assist the investigation, please contact Taupo Police on 07 378 6060.

Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
