The man arrested in relation to an armed Police response in Glenfield today has been charged with assault and threatening behaviour.
The 53 year-old will appear in the North Shore District Court on Tuesday 2 June.
The matter is now before the courts and as such Police are not able to discuss the circumstances around today's incident any further.
