Marine Parade death - name release

Police can now confirm the name of the man who died while swimming on Marine Parade, Napier on 1 November.  
 
He was Joseph Taurua Terrill, aged 51.  Mr Terrill had recently moved to Napier from Tauranga.  
 
Mr Terrill's death has been referred to the Coroner.  
 
Police extend their condolences to Mr Terrill's family and friends for their loss.
