Masterton Police seek help from public

Masterton Police are seeking information about any recent sightings of a White Holden SS Commodore motor vehicle, registration WS5279.  The vehicle is a 1998 VT model, and has been in the Masterton area over recent days.
Yesterday, Thursday 2 July 2015, this vehicle was involved in an incident where it drove into an address on upper Renall Street in Masterton, after Police attempted to carry out a routine vehicle stop with it.
Prior to Police being able approach the vehicle, the occupants then drove to the rear of that address, through the rear boundary fence and into the adjoining property behind.  They then drove at speed through another fence in this propety, in order to exit out onto College Street, Masterton to evade Police.
During this incident, one of the occupants got out of the vehicle and may have had a weapon which they attempted to conceal as they carried it.
Masterton Police are seeking any information from the community about this incident in Renall and College Streets, and about the current whereabouts White Commodore and it’s possible occupants.  The vehicle has not yet been located, but is still being sought.
