A Police search is underway in Waitarere Forest, at Waitarere Beach near Levin, for a 10-year-old boy who went missing from the domain near the forest in the early hours of this morning, 6 October. His name is Alex.
Alex has brown hair and was wearing a red hooded sweat shirt, blue shorts and black shoes.
Police and dog units are now in the area and are working with Search and Rescue (SAR). Police are asking the public to stay away at this time while police dogs track the area.
If anyone has seen Alex please call the Police on 111.
