Senior Police officers and Kaumatua and Kuia from Auckland District Health Board and Auckland Council will attend at Myers Park to bless the scene of the fatal shooting of David Cerven which occurred on Sunday evening.
Superintendent Richard Chambers says the blessing ceremony will be carried out to acknowledge the tragic passing of Slovakian national David Cerven and the circumstances under which he died.
"We are privileged to be able to have the assistance of Heta Tobin and Naida Glavish from the Auckland District Health Board along with Auckland Council kaumatua at 12.30 today."
