Attribute to Senior Constable Tim Rowe of the Serious Crash Unit
Police are now in a position to release the name of the 71-year-old man who died in a fatal crash on State Highway 2 near Tutira on Monday 13 August 2018.
He was Hamish John MacLean of Kotemaori.
Police wish to extend their deepest sympathies to his family at this time.
Any witnesses to the crash, or anyone who saw a silver road bike travelling north between Napier and Tutira from 1.45pm to 2.30pm on Monday is urged to get in touch with Police.
