Police continue to investigate the fatal crash involving a car and a logging truck on State Highway 35 near Gisborne on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Makorori, north of Gisborne, just before 8:30am on November 10.
The deceased was 26-year-old Erica Jones of Gisborne, the sole occupant of the car.
“Police and Victim Support continue to liaise with and support her whanau," says Detective Brent Griffiths.
“We would urge anyone who has information about this incident to contact the Gisborne Police."
