Police are able to confirm the names of the two people whose bodies were recovered from separate swimming holes at Ramarama and Hunua Falls yesterday.
Upmanyu Sharma, 23, died following an incident at Hunua Falls on Sunday.
Edward Proosten, 50, died following an incident at a water hole off Pratts Road, Ramarama also on Sunday.
Our sympathies are with both of their families at this difficult time.
The deaths have been referred to the Coroner.
