1 min read

The Napier Public Library has been evacuated this morning after a suspicious package was found in the central city building.

Staff alerted police around 10.45am today after they noticed a suitcase had been left just inside the front door of the Station St library.  Police immediately evacuated the library building and have cordoned off the surrounding area.

A Defence Force bomb disposal team are on their way to Napier to examine the suitcase.
